The small village of Rognan lies in northern Norway, not far above the Arctic Circle. Viewing the church lit up like this, the atmosphere seemed almost Christmaslike.

This winter I will head up to Northern Norway again, and I hope Lady Aurora will present herself as beautifully again, like she did here in the Lofoten. It was a full moon night, hence the white clouds and the shadows of the mountain. The photo was taken from the balcony of my accommodation.

Ten minutes before this photo was taken it was snowing heavily and you couldn't see a thing. But suddenly the snow stopped, and for a few minutes there was an incredible clearness, before it started changing again.

Spring in eastern Czech Republic is wonderful. There are miles and miles of rolling green and yellow fields. It has become a magnet for photographers and I was one of them, happy to be able to find some of the most photogenic spots there.
