I wasn't planning to post this. I deleted a couple of photos in my stream and made another one public. I don't know how some of you found my other photo in my archives today. This was my favorite from the series. It was almost out of range of my 500mm and my K-5 camera but that helped the depth of field. I just wished I had more megapixels but it's still good. I remember this morning as I was next someone else who was kind of fun to shoot with. Those were some good days and I wish I had spent more time there when it was better at Green Cay from 2010 to 2014.

Fallen Leaf Campground, Lake Tahoe. There wasn't a lot of butterflies in Tahoe probably because it was dry. I did find two very small areas where there was a concentration of small butterflies. I like the natural sepia tone of this photo.

Plumas National Forest. I thought this was a Lorquin's Admiral but as it turns out, it is different. It's a California Sister.
