Shiogama is the port town famous for the fishery harbour beautiful shinto shrine, long history and so on.
Of cource this town had a big damage by tsunami.
But it recovered relatively quickly.
I introduce some photos recently taken.

塩竃は漁港や美しい神社、また長い歴史などで知られる港町です。
もちろん、大きな津波被害を受けました。
それでも、比較的早く復旧しました。
最近、撮影した何枚かの写真を紹介します。

This is the last upload of Shiogama harbor festival.
You can see the another mikoshi portable shrine and the children in front of the mikoshi.
They have each small table called Sanpou in Japanese filled with salt.
They throw salt to purify in front of mikoshi.

鹽竈みなと祭の最後のアップロードになります。
もうひとつ別の神輿とその前を歩く子供たちが見えます。
子供たちは、塩を盛った三方を持っています。
塩を撒いて、御神輿の前を清めるのです。

And at the early evening they come back to Shiogama Shrine and climb the stone 202 steps carrying the portable shrine.
The weight of the portable shrine is 1000kg(2204lb).

志波彦神社・鹽竈神社の御神輿を御座船に乗せ松島湾内を渡御します。
夕方には、氏子たちが鹽竈神社の表参道の石段２０２段の急勾配を御神輿を担いで登ります。
１基１トンの御神輿を、担ぎあげます。
もう興奮のるつぼです。
