"The Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen brings stories of the people who once lived on the shores of the Zuiderzee to life. See, hear, feel, taste and smell everyday life round the Zuiderzee as it was before the Afsluitdijk (the great IJsselmeer Barrier Dam) turned the former inland sea into what we now know as the IJsselmeer, in 1932. The Zuiderzee Museum focuses on the history, current situation and future of the region. Themes such as water, crafts and communities occupy centre stage. These stories are visualized the Outdoor Museum with its historic buildings, and in the Indoor Museum through thematic exhibitions."
Note: When traveling to the Netherlands, the windmills are seen in some areal :-)) On this day, we had a miserable weather, chilly, WINDY and rainy during the visit. We cut short of the walking tour to get back to the cruise ship. I did enhance the temperature a bit, otherwise it looked very dull.

Springtime
- an "Elfchen" is similar to a Haiku in that it has a set form, however it is unique in that it has 11 words, the lines having 1-2-3-4-1 words, respectively.
Also a Cinquains - five-line poems with syllable pattern: 2 syllables in the first line, 4 in the second, 6 in the third, 8 in the fourth, and 2 in the fifth.
