On our way to Iceland in 2019 we had a stop in Denmark not too far from the lighthouse Rubjerg Knude Fyr. I was equally fascinated from the abandoned lighthouse and the dune landscape, with its dramatic falloff to the sea. So this image is my version of bringing these two eye catchers together.

In the original image you could see, that he lost some of his feathers at his neck - probably in a struggle with another tough guy.
Allthough I couldn't help him in real life, but I tried the best to heal his portrait with Photoshop ;)

This aerial panorama shows the small town Ilsenburg in the Mittelgebirge (highland area) Harz. We visited Ilsenburg to hike along the river Ilse and to take some pictures of it. This is more an introductionary image for the next two images of the river Ilse, to show the surrounding.
