Another one from the Rudolph-Wilde-Park in Berlin's borough Schöneberg (taken last May on the same day as my previous capture). In the background you can see the metro / subway / underground station Rathaus Schöneberg (Rathaus = town hall) of the line U4, the shortest metro line in Berlin with only 5 stations (which are all located in Schöneberg). The U4 was opened in 1910, when Schöneberg was still an independant town. Between 1985 and 1993 the U4 was operated all-automatic (driverless).
Noch eins vom letzten Mai im Rudolph-Wilde-Park in Berlin-Schöneberg. Im Hintergrund ist die U-Bahnstation Rathaus Schöneberg der U4 zu erkennen, Berlins mit nur fünf Stationen (die allesamt in Schöneberg liegen) kürzeste U-Bahn-Linie. Die U4 wurde 1910 als "Schöneberger Untergrundbahn" eröffnet, zu diesem Zeitpunkt war Schöneberg noch eine eigenständige Stadt. Von 1985 bis 1993 wurde die U4 vollautomatisch und führerlos betrieben. Ach ja, und Frühlingsblumen sind auch mit auf dem Foto ;-)
