The River Trent at Swarkestone Bridge, South Derbyshire. I went to try and get a good flood picture after the recent heavy rain but there was no flood so I had to put up with this.

My Sigma 10-20mm lens had an outing today. I love the effect you get with it in the right circumstances. . It's strange but I have never seen any Highland Cattle until last week when Lazlo Woodbine introduced me to some (it was all very formal) and then today I stumbled across another frieldly herd near Curbar Edge so I was able to mingle!

If you look closely, you can see the poor chap has got flies all over his nose!

Apologies to those who commented on this before. I was looking at the original and found some photoshop messups which I had to correct. When I tried to replace the photo, Flickr only replaced the small version and left the large and originals as the previous version with blemishes so I deleted it and reloaded it.

Its taken at Shardlow Lock in Derbyshire and is HDR with 3 exposures +-2ev. I never spent that much time on it originally but on a revist I quite like it.
