It was early fall at the end of September 2021. My wife Tarja and I were photographing the northern lights in a familiar place.
Suddenly a bright light appeared in the sky moving downwards. We wondered what a strange meteor or rocket it was.
The next day it turned out we had seen an American rocket launch. It was Atlas V Landsat 9.
This was not the first rocket this fall. Earlier September we saw a Russian Soyuz rocket.
There are many things to see in the dark starry sky today.
