This is one I couldn't resist, a photo of my dog Bobby in a patch of grass which because of lock-down had not been cut. In this case, the weeds could hardly be described as such, but are flowers in the true sense of the word, wild ones at that, and in an urban meadow. Bobby is my second westie and and thankfully at thirteen is he still fit and healthy.

This is on I promised 'martinblack18', whose favourite subject among other things is his beautiful cat. The photo, taken from an original painting owned by my wife, depicts her cat Tiger as a kitten. It was one of a series painted by local artist Josephine Copley. Always on the look-out for prey in the 'jungle' of the neighbourhood gardens, he certainly lived up to his name.

This is my new neighbour's cat on the fence gingerly peering into my garden on a bright sunny New Year's day morning. I need to find out its proper name and breed. In the meantime I have called 'her' Molly.

Have since found out his name is Leo!
