A Lucky find while exploring some deserted back roads in Hokkaido as this tree was hard to see and well hidden. Some discussions followed on who spotted it every body claiming it but I think it was me :-) Wading through the deep snow to get a decent view and composition was through a fairly wooded area with some large trees. Then Gavin mentioned that the bears often hibernate at the base of trees. definitely focussed the mind. Hope you enjoy viewing and don't mind the deliberately centred composition
