The tail end of the storms last night, I rushed out of the house to grab some stormy frames. Chasing the light keeps me coming back for more.

These trees at the edge of the canyon must some tough son of a guns. The harsh landscape and being out in the open and yet they thrive. I framed this scene during sunset in Bryce Canyon NP. A beautiful area of the park.

"As Time Moves On"
I captured this walking around Smithville Lake several weeks ago. The sun was setting and I had very little light left. These wild sunflowers seemed too gorgeous not to give a try at things. I keep getting reminded of the seasons we all go through. The ups and downs, hills and valleys. It's heavy right now, but it will get easier.
