Australia’s favourite ice treat Paddle Pop was given its name because its shape resembled a paddle.
To celebrate Paddle Pop's 60th birthday, Streets was giving out free Paddle Pops in classic vanilla flavour. There was also a one-day-only Paddle Pop-up gallery displaying 60 paper portraits of Australia’s famous faces, each mounted on a Paddle Pop stick.

This year's Archibald winner - Barry by Louise Hearman. Oil on masonite.
Entertainer, satirist, painter and Dadaist, Barry Humphries is best known for his alter-ego Dame Edna Everage.
'For years I had hoped that one day this frighteningly brilliant individual, who also paints, would see a show of mine when he was in Melbourne and like my work. As it happened we became friends through mutual acquaintances and, much to my delight, Barry agreed to sit for a portrait. I tried my ideas, but as it progressed, the painting itself showed me the way', says Hearman.
Born in Melbourne in 1963, Hearman is known for her dark, dreamlike paintings.
