Stayed overnight at Glendale Farmstay in Bowral (90 minutes south-west of Sydney), a country-style bed and breakfast accomodation set among cottage gardens just 5 minutes from Bowral. Had a wonderful stay for one night in the Coach House.

These are the owners' two fluffy cats lying in a flower bed, away from the afternoon sun. The cat in the background is actually bigger than the one in the foreground.

Once again clear sky and not a speck of cloud. So had to revert to hiding behind a tree to block out the sun that was lying close to the horizon. Jetty was almost hidden by the tree. Farm house was to the left of the picture.

Once again clear sky and not a speck of cloud. So had to revert to hiding behind a tree to block out the sun that was lying close to the horizon. Good reflections from the lake. The statue was a bit out of place. Farm house was to the left of the picture.

Once again clear sky and not a speck of cloud. So had to revert to hiding behind a tree to block out the sun. Only then did the sky turn a bit red. Of the three sunset photos, I liked this one best.

Smog clearing during sunrise at Glendale Farmstay in Bowral.
At least this location was only 2 minutes walk from the farm house (not like the one-hour hike to the Northern Beaches for sunrise photos). So I could afford to get up as late as 5:30 in the morning. Actually I should have started earlier to enjoy the fairytale-like smog. The grass was heavily covered with frost. It was almost like walking on ice. You left foot marks behind you everywhere you walked. It was about 5 to 6 degrees Celcius - chilly but not windy.
