6:15 am sunrise at Mona Vale Beach (Bongin Bongin Bay is to the left of Mona Vale Beach, separated by a swimming pool).
At last there were clouds. My prayers were answered but I got more than I wanted.
This photo was taken moments before the sun popped up over the horizon.
The waves were motion-blurred because of a 2-second long exposure.

6:15am Bongin Bongin Bay sunrise.
Taken from Mona Vale Headland Reserve, looking south towards Turimetta Head.
The lush green slimy moss-like covering looked great with the low-lying sun but wasn't that great to walk on.
A 1/15-second exposure with the use of an ND graduated filter yielded a bit of motion-blur in the flowing water.

I had a bit of trouble getting the auto focus to work for this image primarily because of the running water. This image lacked sharpness. Should have waited for the water to subside, auto focus, retain setting and wait for overflow water to return.
