When you paint with watercolour and add salt on it while the paint is still wet, this is the effect you will get. It made me smile when I saw that and had to capture it. I will go back tomorrow and attempt a macro shot with my point and shoot before it washes out by the rain. This is part of a bridge.

I went out the day after an ice storm and heavy snow during the night. It so reminded me the 1998 ice storm we had. The sound of falling branches and the beauty. When I walked by the river and saw the ice from the trees falling in the water, I decided to capture (if lucky) some of the splashes. It was hit an miss and mostly misses as I never knew when and where it would hit. Very challenging..
