I was hunting photogenic butterflies this morning when I stumbled upon this bird which is rare in most of the Northeast U.S. It definitely made my day. Studying up on it very quickly, I learned that it is actually classified in the Cardinalidae family and that it has previously been grouped with "Blackbirds and Orioles" and "New World Sparrows".
