portland, oregon HOTEL VINTAGE PLAZA The bottom corner used to be a restaurant called the Bonfire. In the mid 1980's the owners hired an arsonist out of Chicago to set it on fire. So the Bonfire went up in smoke. They all went to prison. The building was then renovated and sold to the Kimpton Hotel Group out of San Francisco.
