its repetitive call is not something everyone enjoys but I love it sure sign springs on the way !!
Chiffchaff are small olive warblers which sing their name as they flit around hunting for insects in woods, marshes and scrubby places. Chiffchaffs are increasing in the UK and the secret of their success is their ability to weather our winters. Many stay in the milder south and south-west of England where the insects are more active.

A stunning bird to see and to photograph a bird I always think lifts your spirits such subtle beauty this female was courted by a very protective male so I think spring is definitely in the air !!
