The exercise is the first Command Post Exercise (CPX) since 2010 that integrated Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2) a world rendered digitally, with other simulation models to create a realistic scenario for the training unit. Coincidentaly, it is also the first CPX for a non-deploying unit in the last five years to receive a combined training support package. This photo has information redacted for reasons of security.
