Wild Daffodil, Lent lily, (Narcissus pseudonarcissus). The bright yellow daffodils that adorn our roadsides and parks. They are in abundance here on the National Trust Belton Estate.
They can be identified by their six pale yellow petals, which tend to be thinner and have more of a teardrop profile than other daffodils', as well as a vibrant yellow trumpet in the centre.

John Cust. First Earl Brownlow. Married to Amelia Sophia Hume, Lady Brownlow (1788-1814) who was his third wife. The couple had no children, although the earl had children from his two previous marriages.
