White Native Bluebells, White Bluebells, Albino Bluebells are just some of the names of this quite rare 'bluebell'. (Hyacinthoides non-scripta)
I noticed these in the Nottinghamshire countryside.

Many know the Starling as somewhat of a pest, yet mesmerising in murmurations. Up close I find them amazing with so many colours that shine in one light and almost dull like in another.
This fella was on the roof of my garden shed very briefly. Its plumage is stunning.
Did you know that the oldest known wild Starling was 21 years old!

I spent a short time at Butterley Reservoir in Derbyshire owned by Ripley and District Angling Club. The anglers there were all very polite and a few of them gave me permission to take a few shots of their fishing tackle. Butterley Reservoir is perfect for Bream, Perch, Roach, Tench and Carp. The reservoir is behind Midland Railway, Butterley, near Ripley.
