When I'm travelling to a place and have my camera in my luggage, I often have a few pictures in my head that I want to take. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don't. But I'm always surprised at the spontaneous motifs that appear when you just walk through the neighbourhood with your eyes wide open.

Like this mirror, for example, which was leaning against a wall in Venice and in which the backdrop of the lagoon city is wonderfully reflected. It's definitely worth getting down on your knees for and in front of it.
