Comet Pan-STARRS drifts towards the Lincoln Memorial. The comet appeared to be small and compact, and the low altitude, atmospheric haze and light pollution prevented me from seeing it with the naked eye despite its apparent magnitude of around 2.0.

The comet is speeding away from us and slowly fading.
