One of the Spout Run eagles makes a rare appearance over the park trail.

The Spout Run eagles have something brewing in the nest already.

The Spout Run eagles now have little chicks in their nest. We can't see them yet, but the adults' behavior shows that they're definitely tending to newly hatched eaglets.

Maybe this season I'll actually get pictures of the eaglets as they grow up and fledge.

It's now confirmed -- there is at least one chick in the Spout Run nest! The eaglet is still very young, no more than a month old, and still has its newborn gray fuzzy down, but it's growing pretty quickly.
