It's an albino squirrel in Lafayette Square! Well, not a true albino (completely white with pink eyes), but a rare white color variant of eastern gray squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis).

After not seeing any white squirrels since the early 1990s, I've seen three just since December 2009. This one's hanging out on the Ellipse near the visitor pavilion.
