As is traditional - first shot of the 366 is a selfie - 53 years young in March!
And for WAH - `In and Out of Focus'
I'm one of the admins of the 366:2020 Edition. And this is my 7th year taking (at least one) picture a day (I had a break in 2014 and 2016). I also participate in the 100 x group (see other picture!) and belong to the slightly mad We're Here Gang. Also joining the 120 in 2020 to give me ideas for my daily shots.

Like many of us of a certain age, life is very pressured with full time work (in the NHS) and family commitments. I didn't really look after myself much last year - I think it showed in my photography which felt a bit lacklustre to me - I often just 'phoned it in'. Although at least I didn't resort to socks.

It's going to be another challenging year but I am going to give myself a little more time to find some head space, some healthiness and some joy with life. I hope to reflect this in my photography.

Another selfie! WAH (We're Here) made me do it because we are visiting mug shots on Mug shot Thursday. So have I made it a 'mono more about me mugshot' for the introducing theme in week 1 of the 366.

Also for 13/120 - Beverage

It was lovely to be able to go and sit outside with my coffee this morning. I am supposed to be at work but decided to 'work at home' which means 2 computers on the kitchen table......and quite a lot of multitasking.
Alongside many others, I am taking the time each day to be thankful for something. I have started a written journal, so won't bore you with it every day!
But today I am thankful for a flexible workplace, dry weather and that I even ventured out on a starter run after nearly 2 years off; and that my son (#3 child) decided to drive to Cornwall from Sheffield, where he is at Uni, overnight (without telling us) and was safely at home by 0630 this morning. I now have all 4 'kids' at home for a week or so.

Introducing TGO (The ginger one) aka Whiskey. He has been my very chatty but less than helpful assistant ever since I came to Flickr in 2012. He has his own album.
Also there is half a traffic cone on the table. That's just the way we roll (the other half is supporting the Christmas tree - GENIUS!)
Actually I had a different shot planned for WAH (who are visiting the Conezone) but it was not to be.
Also this is my first phone shot of the 366 - I do take a lot of phone pics for the 365s, and you can see my Canon in the background (and in fact also #1s Canon).
What else does this show about me ??
We have a lot of cookery books.
No one hangs their coats up.
I often work at the kitchen table (MacBook behind TGO)
we are walking the cornish coast path and marking it off on a giant laminated map!
I don't have Christmas lights up still - they are (ah hem) permanent party lights.
Someone in my house likes Cheerios.

WAH are puzzled over the Flickr Puzzle group.
I really enjoyed doing this which was done on the diptic app and then given an instagam wash. I did one 365 entirely using my phone and phone apps, and spent a lot of time manipulating pictures in different apps. It taught me a lot about image design and using post processing. Although I now have PS and LR (i use the latter for portrait work), i don't enjoy using them so much.
I might do more of this again in 2020.
