WAH are visiting porches.
I think the meaning may be a little different in the UK. Possibly because it rains a lot.
When we built onto the end of the house we built a porch in front of the entrance so we could have a lovely warm, clean and welcoming area for people to come into
It has of course become the repository for all coats, wellies. walking boots, sports bags, tools, bike kit, dog leads, head torches, hats, gloves, scarfs and random things that don't belong any where else. And lots of dried mud.
This was the best shot into it, hiding the mess.

my husband bought me this for my 50th birthday last year - it was a huge surprise. i haven't really mastered it yet but I have great fun twiddling things! Hope everyone is having a fab weekend

Although many people agreed that My Glam Cam was a still life, I thought I'd do a proper one today. Somewhat annoyingly my 'set up' shot had the better light from the window but was off centre. So this was the final choice. I love this collection of dried things which changes all the time as I add to and take away from it. It crops up frequently in my 3565s!

A second day without rain and it was almost light when I got home for work. I very excitedly went outside with my camera. And there's not a lot in the garden at the moment.......
So more dried dead stuff from me!!
