October 22nd. I just know someone else will have done this already for the theme of eyes, but hey, it's a chance to do a cliché shot. It was remarkably hard to get the focus just so on the eye of the needle, whilst holding a torch in the other hand! I know I should use the tripod but I am still out of love with it. It's just too faffy in the evenings; And I don't have a mini studio set up at the moment. Note to self for winter!

October 25th. "pieces of eight, damn their eyes". Ok so it's a bit of a variation on the theme! I was going for the macro capture of the eye on this chap but I didn't like any of my pics, except this one. The ship behind is an image in my I pad! (I also took some pirate pics of the boy but oh dear, he looked so sulky)

23rd October. Once she'd learned to look outside herself, she could go wherever she pleased.
Eyes and levitation. Double combi
This was bloody tough without photoshop. initally i got #4 to sit cross legged on a piano stool balanced on top of two kitchen chairs (health and saftey? Can you imagine explaining that in a and e!) with the black backdrop. Then i took a photo of a cushion in the same place but lower. then i blended them using image blender. i used a Snapseed effect at the end to cover the bad bits and give it that lift off feeling.

30th October. Managed to get the long suffering hubby to pose. This is a late shot as have been out for the evening after a (very) long day at work. Superimposed some twigs to try and get the face effect, not perfect but it'll do. Probably going to post and not run, but sleep. Catch up as I can!
Using this for the glass slipper theme - dressing up.

October 5th. As the kids grow older you move away from plastic for electronic. We still have some of the kiddie stuff around as they love it, and we usually have my child minders 3 year old here. So here we have playmobil and marble run vs the iPad, ps3 and electric bass. I have cranked up the light and colour slightly. I kinda like the look of the knight at the ps3 control. Is it admiration or worry?
This is also for the glass slipper gang. Week 40. Toy story.
