June 1st. Don't run, dive, bomb etc by the pool. So I guess me encouraging small boys to do all the above is a stupid thing to do, thus the theme for the weekly group. Last day of panning, I've enjoyed this week. I'm going to use this as my weekly picture for the other 52 groups

June 2nd. Ok I'm sorry but we have our best friends here and it's beautiful and we are drinking! I know it's supposed to be silhouettes and I will try, but today we spent the day at the beach (crantock). The theme for the glass slipper group is heroism. The beach lifeguards here do an amazing job. They have to remind us all to be sensible and then they have to save us when we are not. They are our local heroes. June 3rd. Back at work today after a lovely weekend of excess! Slightly jaded but hey ho. We're off out again tonight to see Eddie Izzard at the Eden project so I wanted to get this in. I love these aquilegias which self seed all over the garden and I was really chuffed to catch the little bug !

June 4th. A lovely evening in the garden with great light. This is my photo of the day but I'm going to put another in comments. I was using the macro filter on this - these critters were tiny and the spider kept running back to his base every time I got near! I liked the silhouettes against the sky.

June 5th. I'm sure I've seen someone else do something similar. Needed to catch the dying sunlight and #4 is always happy to pose for the camera if it delays bed time. She was crouching on our gate posts to do this. However, it was hard to get her to move her hand into the right position. Up a bit, down a bit etc. it was like the telly programme that was on when I was very young (the golden shot?).
as this is also silhouette week for the glass slipper group this will be my pic for them
