1st September. Back to school next week and we had the kids back yesterday, so we went to the beach with friends for the day. I didn't want to take the dslr as I've ruined too many cameras with sand so took the old ixus which is still working its magic. I was suprised at the number of people that do wander around with such expensive cameras in salt, water, sand and wind.
Anyway I digress. With the theme in mind I found this tiny white feather and with the Ixus on the macro setting, had a fun 10 mins lying on the ground taking pics. I like it in mono, it emphasise the softness I think.
