From the Parish Church head into the centre of the village and the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel is on the right on Fore Street junction, as the road curves to the right. The Mount Hawke Wesleyan Society was formed in 1817 and the first chapel/meeting house built-in 1820. The Chapel was renovated in 1905 and again in 1991. In 1932 the chapel became Mount Hawke Methodist Church.The Chapel is still in use today although serves the community more as a community meeting place and activities centre. A preschool runs at the back.
