Oh boy, has it ever been. And yesterday was gorgeous but today it's blowing a hoolie again, although dry (at the moment). It seems to have been like this for months. Our garden has taken a battering (but nothing like the poor people nearer the sea than us, and those in Somerset).
And nothing looks sadder than swimming pools in winter. It is supposed to be covered but there has been so much water that the cover has been torn off on one side. And that bench was not put there for effect, it has been blown over (more than once).
Edited in Snapseed to make it look even more melancholic.
Roll on summer please.
