3rd October. I was going to do change in the weather today but the promised deluge avoided Southampton, in fact we even had sun. So I went for a run after the course today and found a cycle path through the New Forest. I got to this checkpoint and found this little fellow. A New Forest pony, when usually I see coos and sheeps. I looked at him, he looked at me and we agreed that neither of us had a bike, but we would use the trail anyway. Thought this would work for the double combi for week 40. Changes (365) and wildlife photography (52) - but it is now an outtake for the 52 group.
It was quite difficult to get this processed right. It is a phone shot and the light was all wrong, behind him and bright grey. This tone seems to highlight the pony best. I'd be interested in your thoughts.
