I had a chance to visit the Arizona Renaissance Fair outside of Phoenix, Arizona in February 2011. It was a blast but the weather left a lot to be desired - the first time I watched the jousting it turned into a downpour and none of the shots turned out. The afternoon performance was much better but there was such a lighting contrast between sunlight and shadow - it was hard to get shots of the actual jousting. Oh well guess I have to go back again next year!
