Better on black
Footpath running between Keswick and Threlkeld (and beyond) in the Lake District. It passes over the River Greta several times and is a former railway line. Now much used by walkers and cyclists.

The UK's heaviest duck apparently. There were a lot of these around Seahouses harbour. The families would mass together in great rafts of adult females and ducklings. The males would be off doing their own thing.....
