in taiwan, it is quite common to see people use umbrellas for something besides rain...sunshine. as an american, it took me a short while before i started to use them for the purpose, it's much cooler, folks!

during many of my walks i pass a lot of street-side vendors and when they're not open, some of their "tools of their trade" are outside, like these...drying or just trustingly not worried they'll get stolen.
