This will be my last post for a week as we are having a short break in Hayling Island.
Barbary macaque with two grey squirrels and a black squirrel in Woburn Safari Park.

Woburn is home to a population of black squirrels, not found in many parts of the country other than in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

If you take a walk through Woburn Deer Park you'll see plenty of them, and it was in Woburn that the first wild black squirrel was found in 1912.
