Glade Creek Grist Mill - Fayette, W.V.

Babcock State Park is situated on 4,127 acres of beautifully scenic woodlands in the New River Gorge area. The Glade Creek Mill is found close to the park headquarters. It is now probably one of the most photographed buildings in all the West Virginia State Parks. Visitors can tour the building and even buy the corn meal and buckwheat flour that it produces.

The Portland Head lighthouse standing at 80' tall is the oldest lighthouse in Maine. This lighthouse was completed in Jan 1791. This lighthouse started construction in 1787 under President George Washington who commissioned this into service.
