There are some of the biggest cornfields out on the flat Islands of Champlain. My camera and I couldn't capture how big they are. I needed to get up on a ladder or something. lol

I went Out to De Islands, Mawn. 🌴

Lake Champlain from De Islands.
As soon as I pulled in here and opened the car door, I saw a bald eagle about 20 feet over my head. Got no shot of course. I couldn't even see where he went. lol
That was closest encounter I've had with an eagle.

Like poplars on steroids. Magnificent trees. They grow all along the shores of Lake Champlain and its Islands.
