This was an unexpected find on our trip. I saw something way out in the field that looked unusual, I grabbed my buddies binoculars and was able to confirm that we had an SEO! I left the area and came back to give him a chance to come to the road. We came back and there he was! We watched him hunt, but whenever he perched a single car seemed to always flush him. Shortly after this shot he dove on the side of the road and caught a nice big vole that he flew off with. He was about to land and I proceeded slowly hoping to watch and get some prey shots. Well a couple Ravens swooped in chasing him up to the sky and forced the prey to drop. This was then intercepted by an adult Rough Legged Hawk that took advantage of the chaos. The Ravens were just nagging this fella and eventually he left the roadside. It was a nice bonus!
