St. Peter Port, Guernsey, August 09, 2011

Unveiled in 1863, two years after his death, the statue recalled the visit of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to Guernsey in 1846.

It is a bronze statue set on Cornish granite depicting Prince Albert wearing the robes of the Order of the Bath. Address: Albert Pier, St Peter Port.

Also to be seen is Town Church (Anglican) the building in its current form dating from the 15th Century.
