The Sengokuhara pampas grass field lies at the foot of Mt. Daigatake. There is a single path available for walking through the field. The best time to visit to see the gold pampas grass is from late September to mid November.

The marshy area of Sengokuhara used to be part of the lake and now is designated as a national natural monument, with many rare species of plants such as nohana iris and peat moss.
