Gantry cranes left after the former "Domino" Sugar Refinery near the Williamsburg Bridge in Williamsburg, Brooklyn was closed and mostly demolished. They were used to unload sugar from the cargo ships coming along the East River and moved on wheels along the loading dock. They are exotic decoration and part of the beautiful "Domino" park located right below them now. Behind are two new residential buildings named One South First / 260 Kent Avenue by COOKFOX Architects.
