I was trolling for Salmon. I was trolling a flasher with a 3 foot leader at a depth of 90 feet. I thought I had caught a fish. When I realed it up this is what was on the line. I guess I diving duck had dove down 90 feet and bit my sardine. By the time I realed him up he was dead. I felt so bad...in Years of fishing I've never seen this happen. I've caught sharks, bottom fish, a seal, I've had a seagull take off with my fish in the air...but never this. I hoped he'd come back to life but I had to let him go.

There were so many seals out in Brentwood Bay this week. At one point there were over 30 of them just looking at my boat. All their heads were sticking out of the water...it was kinda spooky.
