The cold nights have been perfect in helping the apples to redden and ripen. Walking through the unpicked orchard rows is a treat for the eyes. The earlier varieties, such as the Sunrise and the Aurora Golden Galas have both tasted amazing. Now they are picking Honey Crisp, then Ambrosia and finally Pink Ladies.
