I'm still very busy and quite stressed out too but decided to allow myself a little break to rediscover my inner zen. Therefore I spent an hour at the zoo this morning, enjoyed the fact that I was almost alone there and took a few photos. The bird in this photo is a female Mandarin duck. Everybody admires the colourful males but I love the females too.

This is another photo taken at the zoo where this lovely star magnolia is in full bloom at the moment. The other magnolias there are only just beginning to flower and will probably need another week to show their amazing beauty.

Tipsy Trainer 1 G-AFRV, built in Slough in 1939, at the Brussels Air Museum on 11 March 2025. The Tipsy Trainer was the British-built version of the Belgian Tipsy B which was made at the Avions Tipsy factory at Gosselies Aerodrome, Charleroi.
