Dropped by Farmoor Reservoir, Oxfordshire to see the visiting juvenile phalarope this week and wasn't disappointed. I parked myself quite a distance from the bird to keep away from the gathered masses of birders and togs. Then the bird flew and swam right to where I was laying, probably withing 4 meters.
