I was one of the books participating in the Living Library event; patrons could check out a person for a thirty-minute conversation, to broaden their horizons and learn about different ways of life.
I was the transvestite ;)
It was a great experience for me - especially because it was the first time I had ventured out in public en femme (apart from Halloween and costume events) - and I hope it was equally rewarding for all the people who checked me out.
