Taken 05/09/15: In brief this loco was built in 1929 (construction was delayed as the order was changed from River Class 2-6-4s to U Class 2-6-0s following the Sevenoaks crash) and was withdrawn in 1964 and sent to Barry Scrapyard. In 1980, No. 31625 become the 111th loco to leave that yard (surely a Lord Nelson should have been the 111th) and became one of three Maunsell Moguls on the Mid-Hants Railway. Regrettably the owner's relationship with the Watercress Line was destined to end messily and all three locos were purchased by the Swanage railway in 2014. A fuller history can be found at:

Taken 05/09/15: I will have to upload my snaps of the Great Dorset Steam Fair in batches and this, and the next snap, were taken towards the end of the evening at the top end of the ploughing field.

Taken 05/09/15 at the Great Dorset Steam Fair; Another couple of snaps from the GDSF, this time of steam road rollers.
I've not identified the vehicle on the left*, but the vehicle on the right is Graham Froud's 1901 Fowler Road Roller 'Lord Kitchener ' (HR 3582).

*Although it is possibly Aveling & Porter 1902 Road Roller "Lady Bethany".
