Taken 07/01/12: Given the current use of this building, it is somewhat ironic that I spent the following morning persauding our dead Astra it wanted to start.

Taken 15/06/19: A few years back I snapped the roadside aspect of the station, so the view of the platform.
The L&SWR reached Farnham in 1849 by way of a single branch from Guildord via Ash Green, which was extended on to Alton in 1852. The line from Aldershot reached Farnham in the 186os and, on eletricifcation in 1937, the line via Ash Green closed to passengers. Looking at 'Railways of the Southern Railway' by Geoffrey Body (although admittedly my copy was published in 1989) the inference is that traces of the junction of the former line to Guildford can still be seen, although I've yet to spot exactly where this is.
